The Roll Models, Inc. Shopping Cart is VERY simple to use.  You don't have to click ten times to add an item to your shopping cart.  You do NOT need to read this information in order to use the shopping cart. It is designed to be easy to use, however, should you need it, here are some instructions for using our cart. You may also e-mail webmaster@rollmodels.com

 

SHOPPING

 

1)  Click on the product line entry in the index at the left of your window to shop through the COOL Roll Models stuff.

 

2)  When you see something you'd like to buy, click once on the price.  After a moment or two a window will pop up telling you to click 'cancel' to continue shopping or click 'OK' to view your shopping cart.  If you click 'cancel', you will be returned to the catalog page that you were browsing.  If you click 'OK', you will be sent to the online order form.

 

3)  When you are viewing the online order form, you can: 

•    Change the quantity of an item you've ordered by highlighting the quantity, changing it and immediately clicking the 'Change' button for that item.

•    Remove the item from the order form altogether by clicking the 'Remove' button for that item.

•    Empty the entire cart by clicking the "Empty Entire Cart" button near the bottom of the order form.

When you are done viewing your shopping cart, just click on the index at the left of your window to continue shopping

 

4)  You can also order an item twice by clicking on it twice rather than changing the quantity on the order form.  PLEASE REMEMBER THIS as we will assume that entering the item on the order form more than once means that you want more than one of that item!

 

5)  When you are done shopping, either click the 'View Shopping Cart' button at the top or click 'OK' when ordering your last item so that you can carefully review the contents of your shopping cart.

 

6)  Scroll to the bottom of the online order form and review the information there:

 

•    If you are are having the items shipped to the state of Minnesota, click the 'Minnesota Sales Tax' box. If we ship the package to Minnesota, you will be charged Minnesota sales tax whether or not you check this box.

•   Choose the appropriate shipping method and location to calculate a PROVISIONAL shipping amount.  Note that the shipping amount ALWAYS is based upon the items actually shipped in case we are unable to ship a complete order.  Some oversized international shipments may cost more than indicated. We will always charge the appropriate shipping amount regardless of what you choose here so this is NOT a good way to get a huge box shipped to Timbuktu via UPS for $6.25!

 

7)  Choose the payment method:

•    Secure Online Credit Card Transaction

•    Credit Card Transaction via Telephone

•    Check or Money Order

 

8)  Click on the 'Click to Check Out' button

 

CHECKING OUT

 

9)  If you have used our shopping cart before AND if you have cookies enabled in your browser, your billing and shipping information (but NOT your credit card number!) will appear on the check out page.  If the information does not appear here, please type it in CAREFULLY so that we can ship your package to you.

 

10)  The first name and address is for the place that you would like the package shipped. If paying by credit card, the second is for the name and address to which the credit card bill is sent for the card which is being used for this purchase.  This data is verified and if inaccurate will delay shipping.  If both addresses are the same, simply click the 'Same as Above' box between them.

 

11)  If you have any further information for us -- either special shipping instructions, your address didn't fit on the form or if you'd like to volunteer to pay for our childrens' college education -- this is the place to tell us!

 

12)  When all of the information has been entered and you have verified that it is correct, click the 'ENTER' button at the bottom of the page. 

 

PAYING ONLINE BY CREDIT CARD

 

13)  If you chose to use a Secure Online Credit Card Transaction, you will be sent to our secure server to enter your credit card information. All information sent to Roll Models, Inc. from the Secure Payment form is securely encrypted before being sent to us.

 

14)  Our secure Server page will be populated with the billing information from the previous page.  Simply click the type of card and fill in the card number with expiration date.

 

15)  If you discover that there was a problem with the billing information from the previous page, click the 'Back' button. This will take you to the main shopping page and NOT the previous check out page.  Simply click on the 'View Shopping Cart' icon and you will be returned to the order form with all of the items on it. Proceed with checkout and re-enter the billing information that was incorrect.

 

16)  Once the credit card information has been entered, click 'Authorize Payment' and after a few moments you will see a copy of your order.  Scroll down to the bottom of that page where there is a button that says 'Print this page for your Receipt'.  Please do this and keep the copy for your records.

 

17)  Within a few moments you will also receive an e-mail confirmation of your order.  This is automatic.  If you do not receive this, your e-mail address was probably entered incorrectly and we will be unable to contact you be e-mail if we would need to.

 

PAYING WITH A CREDIT CARD BY TELEPHONE

 

18)  If you would rather not send your credit card number securely over the Internet, you may choose to send us the order and telephone or fax us to provide a credit card number. The steps are the same as for paying by credit card except that you are not sent to our secure server to give your card number.  Instead you receive a printable receipt in your browser, an e-mail confirmation and instructions to telephone us at 763-545-0399 (USA) or fax at 763-545-0899 to give your card number.  We will receive your order as usual by e-mail but we will not process it until you call or fax.

 

ORDERING AND PAYING BY MAIL

 

19)  If you choose payment by mail (Check/Money Order or Credit Card), you will receive a receipt in your browser that you can print your name and shipping information on and mail to us with a check/money order or credit card number.  Keep in mind that we will not receive your order from the Internet. You must mail it to us. It's that easy!
