Copper State Models 1/48th German Pilot in Aircraft

This is one of a new series of 1/48th scale World War One resin figures from Copper State Models. These will make a great addition to a diorama, or simply posed in, or next to, a WW I airplane.

The detail is quite nice, with the heads especially well done. The flying helmet is very detailed. There is a bit more flash than I like, but that is easily cleaned up. Both arms of this pilot figure are cast with the body with the hands lower down in the lap, as if holding the control stick.
