This is the newest addition to Tamiya's 1/72nd line of kits, of their own tooling. Somw other kits in this line are for the Japanese market and are reboxings of others' kits. This is a standard modern Tamiya kit. What can one say? The instructions are standard, high quality Tamiya style. Nothing is left to chance. The approximately 50 kit parts are evenly and finely cast with recessed panel lines. My only "hit" on this kit, and it isn't much of a hit, is the lack of painting schemes available. Markings are provided for four aircraft, either green over gray or green or a silver (bare metal finish) underside. Not very colorful compared to the average Luftwaffe kit offerings. The decals are typical Tamiya, better than some, but not up to the best in thinness, which is especially important in this scale. Also of note, the canopy is cast in one piece "closed." Perhaps Falcon canopies have the answer? Over all an excellent kit easily finished in a weekend.
